Wilson Care provides a 24 hour, 7 day a week crisis intervention, assessments and admission service. Our staff of
registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, case managers, consulting psychologists and physicians provide confidential assessments and care plans for psychiatric behavioral problems.
Wilson Care offers a special needs program for the Mentally Ill, Substance Abusers, also known as MISA. The MISA program has been carefully developed to help achieve highest level of independence and functioning of our residents with the assistance of a MISA Coordinator, Case Managers who are Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
Residents at Wilson Care are given the opportunity to gain a variety of skills to assist in the management of symptoms, improve social skills, increase independence, vocational training and much more. Improving the quality of one’s life is our ultimate goal.
Wilson care is located on Hazel Street in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. We are within walking distance of beautiful Lake Michigan, Montrose Harbor, surrounding parks and lakefront trails. Our residents can get a front row view of Chicago’s annual Air and Water Show, 4th of July fireworks, and other lakefront events. Chicago’s historic Uptown neighborhood provides a wide variety of restaurants and shops for residents and family members to enjoy.
